Title: National Day Celebrations and Concluding of IHCs
Hey,
Its the National Day holidays and we had National Day celebrations in school yesterday. There were loads of fun events and I really don't know where to being with. But never mind, I will walk you through the WHOLE of yesterday.
I came to school and went for assembly. While singing the national day anthem, a sense of pride swelled up within me. Being just 2 days away from National Day and 9 hours away from National Day celebrations, I can really feel the Singaporean inside me awaking and roaring with enthusiasm about the upcoming celebrations. Unfortunately, I was soaked in emotions and thoughts and didn't actually sing the anthem or recite the pledge. What a pity it was.
Anw, I went for PW after that...[removed for the well-being of the readers] ... before we were finally released for lunch.
Had lunch with mark, gerald and weiyang yesterday. How often was it that our class is able to come up with a consensus to where to eat lunch in less than a minute...
After lunch, we went to look for partyworld. The place was so far away and I walked for so long that I must have torn a ligament . Well, what happened there taught me a bit about life - that life is full of surprises. We were just standing in front of the counter at partyworld when a man popped up from behind it. We were all surprised!
We went back to school for celebrations after that. The record breaking booths were all so exciting! I wanted to do this, I wanted to play that but in the end, I didn't do anything at all. Before long, it was 6.30pm and our class went to the track to gather for national day celebrations after we took our share of the unlimited food.
National Day Celebrations was a great success! There were songs and dances, Mr and Mrs Singapores, teachers and students. I really appreciated what the national day committee has done for us. Thank you 27th! At the end of the event was the most anticipated part of yesterday - IHC RESULTS! After a year of hard work, of blood and tears, BW has emerged victorious! Great Job BW!
Really happy about yesterday's celebrations. Wish me luck for piano exams today.
