CIP and class chalet

Hi fellow 08S03E-ers!

This is my first (and probably last go) at writing on the class blog, so yay. I actually suspect the class blog is dead, but whattheheck let's give it a go.

IMH CIP is like, totally dead! Ok so most of us are in holiday mode but you know what? That's all the more reason to spread a little love and joy, peeps! We have permission to help plan the Christmas celebrations for the residents in the IMH CIP. So I'm plugging here for the IMH CIP and asking you lot to help out =D

Yup so please email/SMS me asap thanks! We desperately need ideas for games and gifts for the residents so please do contribute!

Class chalet, 13 - 14 th December. For those of you who missed it, due to competition / being overseas / hibernating at home, here's the update.

13th December
1 pm: People deciding where to eat lunch.
1.30 pm: Meet at some random shopping centre at Jurong MRT, where we eat at some obscenely over-priced restaurant. One bowl of Sichuan sweet and sour soup costs $6.90 without service and GST charge.
2 pm: Weiyang arrives on scene, where everyone has squeezed into a 4-person booth. 7 people now occupy the table.
3 pm: Board shuttle bus to Coasta Sands. Everyone insists that it's a long, long distance to walk.
3.30 pm: Yichen, Lester, Victor and Gerald decide to go cycling. Moses, Weiyang, Liting and I play Frisbee on the beach, where the wind amusingly blows the frisbee everywhere but where we're standing.
4.30 pm: Go to pick up food. 7 people turn up to collect 3 boxes. Delivery guy makes wisecrack about how the girls can cheer the guys on.
5.30 pm: People start arriving. Mia, Sixian and Yi Fei start the bbq fire.
6.00 pm: People play cards. Bridge, taitee and mahjong gets underway. Not that it wasn't before. ;) Sausages, chicken wings and satay is burnt into a carcinogenic state.
9 pm: People start going home. Clearup of bbq completed. Liting, Moses, Yunyi and I play Indian poker upstairs. Suspect people downstairs still happily playing Hedbandz.

14th December
1 am: Decide to go for a walk, and the whole lot of us end up going to some convenience store at Downtown East. The guys buy instant noodles, whilst Moses decides to be different and healthy, and buys bread and Milo.
1.30 am: Play Heart attack and Smack jack. Smack Moses on arm by accident. Laugh hysterically. Everyone decides to switch to Jenga. Doze off.
4.00 am: Wake up to play Hedbandz briefly and doze off again. Brain doesn't operate too smoothly and "Adam and ---?" (Eve) becomes "Adam and Steve". End up being pushed back a square.
7 am: Wake up to sound of people talking. Join in. Decide to go to McDonalds' for breakfast.
7.30 am: Find out egg mcmuffin is 280 kcals. Join in the travel monologue kindly provided by Liting.
10 am: Book out.

If I haven't completely bored you lot, I'll make one final plug for IMH CIP. Please help out by providing ideas for games the residents can play!
