a suggestion for monday

hi people! =D i thought of an ingenious idea for monday! everyone should bring beer / wine / hard liquor to school! lol. cos if you get nice results, you can drink to celebrate! and if you get lousy results(touch tons of wood), you'd at least be too drunk to climb stairs / climb over railings. yeah. finally, if you get average results, you can just drink with the rest and strengthen intra-class bonding. lol.

just joking. good luck to everyone for monday! =D

Cerca Trova

Cerca Trova
Seek and You Will Find

This is funny. Everyone update their blogs at the same time, about the same thing - Civics Homework. I have two options:
  1. Do the same and retreat into my blog and emo about reflections.
  2. Emo about reflections on the class blog
Apparently, I picked option 2...

Why is reflection such a pain?

"JC life is so much more detached, there's less spirit, less passion, just more empty i guess." - Moses
"Two words can sum up my JC life for the past 9 months. They are “plainness” and “mediocrity”. " - Wai Han
"I suppose I will get back to writing my CV. Ah, how wonderful." - Wei Yang
"Sian, I doubt I know what to write..." - Yunyi

Cerca Trova - seek and you will find...

Why do we resist from looking into ourselves properly?
Why do we stare at the bottomless pit but not look up at the pretty blue sky above us?
Why why why?

If we seek to see the better part of ourself, there is no reason for us to be hurt, to feel lost, to feel left out in the dark, to be kicked when we're down and feel like we've been pushed around. Ok, some people might tell me, there is no sky to look at, there is no light at the end of the tunnel, there's nothing worth writing, nothing worth reflecting, nothing worth remembering. That, i assure you, is not true. I wrote 1 self evaluation and 3 peer evaluation thing in the past 3 hours. I found nice things to write about everyone, including myself, even though this year is not the best I ever had. There is always a light somewhere, just whether you want to see it :) Be happy and read what others have to say about you tomorrow :D :D :D

By the way, Sister Garden is really very nice, very very nice...

《逆风》歌词:
演唱:Garden Sister

Why should I care at all?
At all...

Why should I care, Why should I care,
Why should I care at all? At all...

每个选择路口 我就挑难的路走
每次你放弃我 我突然回头你却还跟著我

黑夜逆风细雨 梦想热情和我
痛苦却又甜蜜 Why should I care, Why should I care,
Why should I care at all? At all...

Oh Pee Dry Run

Today was Oh Pee Dry Run (I assure you that it has nothing to do with the Citi Milkrun marathon thingy or bodily waste). It was quite fun, other than the duration, the number of presentations, the number of repetitions, the weather, the temperature of the room, etc. Ok, now that I mentioned all this, it wasn't that fun after all.

Anyway, Oh Pee Dry Run saw many outstanding speakers doing their best to try to capture the attention of their fellow classmates and as such, I see the need to reward everyone with some very special awards. But like all other famous awards, I shall only name the nominees for each award and it is up to each one of you reading this blog to decide the winner.

To vote, please sms the code number beside each nominee to 91522766. Each sms requires you to pay Gerald $1 on Tuesday. Voters below the age of 16 need to seek parental consent.

just to break the silence

yeah. to prevent the class blog from dying prematurely, i shall post something.

yeah. i guess for quite a lot of us, post-promos period is actually tougher than expected. but i am not going to say anything motivational, since everyone knows those things and it'd be terribly redundant. instead, i'd just like to say that... erm.. can't think of anything non-motivational to say. nvm. =P

okok. oh yah. we still have about 100 odd bucks left for class fund, which i doubt will be used up before the end of the year. so we have two choices. 1. keep the money for next year. 2. return the money to everyone and collect afresh next yeah. personally, of course i'd prefer the first choice. but if anyone has violent objections, pls tell me. lol.

ok. wanted to shall a story here but can't remember the story anymore. it's something along the lines of when life hands you a lemon, suck it till its dry so that you can all the vitamin C there is, then move on and hope that it gives you some honey next. ok. i guess that didn't make a lot of sense, but i shall leave it to each reader to decide the meaning for himself / herself.
